Everything We Know About Psych 4
Since the release of Psych 3: This Is Gus on Peacock in 2021, there has been ongoing discussion about a possible follow-up film. Jazmyn Simon, a star who appeared in all three movies, expressed her optimism for Psych 4, stating that as long as fans desired more films, they would continue to be made. Earlier this year, Rodriguez announced that Psych 4 was closer to becoming a reality than anticipated. As the co-writer of all three movies alongside creator Steve Franks, Rodriguez mentioned that the script for Psych 4 had been completed and scheduling was underway.
Kurt Fuller, a lead actor in the series, echoed Rodriguez's optimism and suggested that Psych 4 was just around the corner. However, in another interview this year, Rodriguez disclosed that although Psych 4 was supposedly set to begin filming last year, scheduling conflicts prevented production from commencing. Moreover, with the initiation of the SAG-AFTRA strike on July 14 and no resolution in sight, Psych 4 will have to wait until the actors' union and AMPTP can reach a fair agreement before filming can commence. As a result, it remains uncertain when Psych 4 will eventually come to fruition.
