Marvel's Spider-Man 2 dominated the PS5 downloads in October, with an impressive marketing campaign and positive reviews propelling it to the top spot in the US, Canada, and Europe. Selling 2.5 million copies within its first 24 hours and reaching 5 million copies in just 11 days, the game proved to be a massive success. While other notable games were also released during the month, the rankings differed across regions. In the US and Canada, Assassin's Creed Mirage secured second place, followed by Madden NFL 24 in third, and EA Sports FC 24 in fourth. A noteworthy addition to the charts was Alan Wake 2, a digital-only survival-horror game, which debuted in 11th place. It is important to mention that its late arrival towards the end of October may have influenced its position. The upcoming PlayStation charts for November are expected to provide a more accurate representation, especially considering that the game is also accessible on PC via the Epic Games Store and on Xbox Series X|S.
In Europe, Alan Wake 2 performed exceptionally well and debuted in fifth place. Unsurprisingly, EA Sports FC 24 took second place, given the immense popularity of soccer in Europe. Assassin's Creed Mirage claimed the third spot, while Grand Theft Auto V ranked fourth in terms of downloads for the month in that region. Despite being a decade-old open-world game, Rockstar's GTA 6, with its first look arriving in early December, still exhibits remarkable longevity and appeal.

I am really excited about the upcoming releases of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and Assassin's Creed Mirage. Both of these franchises have a lot of fans, and I am sure that the new games will be very popular. I am also interested in Alan Wake 2, which is a new survival-horror game from Remedy Entertainment. I enjoyed the first Alan Wake game, so I am looking forward to seeing what the sequel has to offer.
It's great to see that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is dominating the PS5 download charts in October. The game has received a lot of positive reviews, and it's clear that fans are excited to play it. I'm also interested in seeing how Assassin's Creed Mirage performs in the charts. The game is a prequel to Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and it looks like it will be a lot of fun. I'm a big fan of the Assassin's Creed series, so I'm always excited to see what's next for the franchise.
