Prince William received a warm welcome at a Welsh school. While Kate Middleton was still on leave, the 41-year-old Prince of Wales visited Ysgol yr Holl Saint – All Saints’ School in Wrexham on Friday, March 1 to celebrate St. David’s Day. During his visit, the excited students presented him with three stuffed animals, one for each of his children with Kate. (Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5).

Prince William expressed his gratitude to the students for the gifts they gave him, saying, "Thank you very much. That's really kind, thank you very much."

He then inquired if the children had decided on any names for the gifts. One student promptly replied, "I thought of one. James, Charlotte, and Mason."

The students named the gifts after themselves, joked a person off-camera.

A child then sweetly gave Prince William a large bouquet, possibly for Kate, who is currently recovering from abdominal surgery and has not been seen in public since last Christmas.

William thanked the students for giving him a tour and mentioned that he would share their positive feedback with Catherine.

Kensington Palace revealed on January 17 that Kate had a planned and successful surgery at The London Clinic. She was expected to remain in the hospital for 10-14 days and is anticipated to resume her royal responsibilities after Easter.

After Kate returned home, her and William's children eagerly pitched in to help her feel better. They made 'get well soon' cards for her and gathered some of her favorite snacks.

Sources shared with us last month that Kate was already back to work from her bed. She was busy planning future engagements and discussing upcoming projects with her team.

Kate is expected to continue her recovery for a few more weeks, but she is looking forward to returning to work soon. During her time away from the spotlight, there were rumors circulating about the reasons for her absence. However, the royal representative dismissed these speculations, putting an end to the social media discussions.

Kensington Palace confirmed in January that they will only be sharing important updates about the princess' recovery. The spokesperson reiterated this on Thursday, February 29, stating that the timelines for updates remain the same.

Additionally, the representative mentioned that Kate is progressing well in her recovery journey.
