Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently returned to the U.S. after visiting Nigeria. To celebrate, they went out for dinner with friends.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen at Lucky’s steakhouse in Montecito, California, dining with their friends Brian and Tracy Robbins on Saturday, May 18. This outing took place the day before they celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary.
Harry, 39, and Meghan, 42, got married on May 19, 2018 at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. Meghan looked beautiful in a white long-sleeved gown by Givenchy, while Harry wore his military uniform for the televised ceremony. The event was attended by members of the royal family, world leaders, and the couple’s celebrity friends.
Before that, Harry and Meghan spent time with Brian, the CEO of Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon, and his wife at the Jamaica premiere of Bob Marley: One Love in January of this year.
Harry and Meghan went on a date night in California nearly two weeks after their visit to Nigeria. They started their trip by visiting the Lightway Academy in Abuja on May 10 to meet with students and commemorate the 10th anniversary of Harry's Invictus Games.
During the school visit, Meghan shared a sweet story about their daughter, Princess Lilibet, who is about to turn 3. She told the students that Lili is much smaller than them and recently looked at her reflection in Meghan's eyes, saying, "Mama, I see me in you." (They also have a son, Prince Archie, who is 5 years old.)
Meghan jokingly described her kids as “very chatty [and] sweet” while speaking at a women in leadership panel the following day.

During the Africa trip, Meghan Markle did her own hair and makeup. She wore a necklace that once belonged to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, at a reception for military families on May 11. The gold necklace had a diamond cross and was a gift from Prince Harry to Meghan, as reported by People.
While enjoying their trip, the couple faced a potential controversy when California Attorney General Rob Bonta declared Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Foundation as “delinquent.” This means they had not paid registration fees for their organization since the beginning of May.
Bonta stated, “An organization that is listed as delinquent is not in good standing and is prohibited from engaging in conduct for which registration is required, including soliciting or disbursing charitable funds. The organization may also face penalties, and its registration may be suspended or revoked by the Registry.”
We found out that although the foundation's paperwork was submitted late, a check for the fees was sent out but not received. A new check has been sent since then.
In a statement on May 14, a spokesperson for the Archewell Foundation assured us, "After a thorough investigation, we can confirm that The Archewell Foundation is fully compliant and in good standing. All payments were made on time and following the IRS's guidelines. Additionally, all required paperwork was submitted correctly and without any issues."
