Pokemon GO has announced the arrival of Fashion Week in 2023, featuring the highly anticipated introduction of Shiny Gotitha. Niantic consistently brings fresh and nostalgic events to keep players excited and engaged. This year, players were delighted with the addition of the Scarlet and Violet Pokemon through the events A Paldean Adventure and Ultra Unlock: Paldea. Larvesta and Volvarona were controversial additions in a divisive event, while the introduction of Zygarde in the Blaze New Trails event stirred further controversy. Now, Pokemon GO is thrilled to announce yet another event, allowing players to expand their Pokedex with the debut of a new Gen 5 creature.

Pokemon GO is hosting the Fashion Week event, which will take place from November 15 at 10 AM to November 19 at 8 PM local time. In this event, players will have the opportunity to encounter Shiny Gothita in the wild for the very first time. During Fashion Week, trainers can look forward to participating in Raids featuring stylized versions of one-star Pokemon like Diglett, Wooper, Sneasel, and Furfrou. For those seeking a bit more challenge, the three-star Raids will showcase fashionable variants of Butterfree, Dragonite, Kirlia, and Absol, all donning stylish outfits. Additionally, Field Research encounters will offer opportunities to catch stylized versions of Butterfree, Diglett, Wooper, Kirlia, Shinx, and Blitzle. To sweeten the deal, trainers will receive 2x Candy for every Pokemon caught, and those at level 31 or higher will have an extra chance to obtain Candy XL.

For a limited time, trainers can also take part in a $2 Paid Limited Survey, where they will have the chance to encounter Pokemon wearing costumes and receive two Premium Battle Passes as rewards. Fashion Week will also provide players with themed items to dress up their avatars and showcase PokeStops highlighting Gothita and Mareanie. Niantic first introduced Pokemon GO Fashion Week in collaboration with Longchamp Paris in 2020, and even though the event may not feature the most powerful Pokemon, collectors and fashion enthusiasts won't want to miss the opportunity to add these unique pocket monsters to their Pokedex.
