Pink, also known as Alecia Moore, did not provide details about the particular situation. Via Instagram, she wrote, "Based on my doctor's advice, I am unable to perform at the Vancouver shows scheduled for Friday and Saturday."

Pink disclosed that she and her then-3-year-old son, Jameson, whom she fathers with husband Carey Hart, had recently contracted COVID-19. (The couple also has a daughter named Willow, born in 2011.)

Pink revealed during an Instagram Live conversation with author Jen Pastiloff that both she and Jameson had endured a severe illness, causing her to pray more than ever before.

Additionally, Pink discussed her frightening experience with Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show. She explained how her asthma, which has previously landed her in the hospital, became so severe that she woke up gasping for breath one night. This prompted her to use a nebulizer for the first time in three decades, highlighting her growing concern and fear.

Pink disclosed that she revised her will upon contracting the virus. Sharing her experience on the Heart Radio show in May 2021, she expressed the severity of the situation, believing it could potentially be the end for her and her loved ones. Amidst distress, she reached out to her closest confidant, urging them to convey her profound affection for her daughter, Willow.

December 2020

Pink recovered from COVID, but the virus was not the last health scare she faced in 2020.

"After braving through the challenges of surviving covid, this year has proved to be a never-ending ordeal!" exclaimed the Pennsylvania resident, alongside a snapped picture of herself sitting in a doctor's office. "Finally, I bid farewell to the stitches resulting from my mishap with a wine glass, a successful endeavor indeed. However, out of the blue, I found myself battling a baffling staph infection (perhaps a plea for attention?) (Was my right knee feeling left out?), only to then suffer an unfortunate ankle fracture!"

Adding further details, Pink mentioned that her ankle got injured while "hastening down the stairs."

The musician known as "So What" candidly discussed her continued rehabilitation following her hip surgery.

Pink shared on Instagram that the first week of recovery was challenging, with tears, depression caused by pain medication, ulcers from medications, and recurring fevers. She expressed gratitude to her husband for his care, mentioning how he brought her coffee while she showered, carried around her heavy CPM contraptions wherever she went, provided emotional support, prepared oatmeal for her, organized her medication, ensured she had her phone charger, handled the compression machines, monitored her temperature, made the bed, and helped her through difficult moments.

Pink acknowledged that being physically unable and dependent was a humbling experience for her, especially as someone who values independence. Nevertheless, she expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn how to accept help graciously.

Pink has been open and honest about her mental health, not just discussing her physical well-being. She revealed in an Instagram video that she used to experience severe panic attacks without understanding what was happening. With no one to confide in, she felt helpless and afraid, describing the panic attacks as resembling stroke symptoms, which left her feeling terrified.

The performer mentioned that despite multiple EKGs showing no physical issues, she decided to enhance her "spiritual toolbox" in order to manage her panic attacks. Seeking therapy and engaging in various practices such as women-only full moon ceremonies and meditation, she embarked on a journey to learn self-care, something she had never been taught before.

Pink revealed to Variety that she had put on 36 lbs during the COVID-19 lockdown and faced difficulty in shedding it immediately due to her hip surgery and double disc replacement in her neck. However, despite the extended recovery period, she expressed feeling like the "bionic woman" after the operation and has successfully lost the weight. According to her, she is now stronger than ever before in her life.

October 2023

Following the cancellation of two Tacoma, Washington shows earlier, Pink has now announced the postponement of two more shows in Vancouver, Canada. The reason for the delay is due to a personal health crisis that the artist is currently facing.

“I regret to inform you that due to a respiratory infection, I am unable to participate in the upcoming shows in Vancouver on Friday and Saturday as advised by my doctor,” she announced on Instagram. “The team at Live Nation is diligently working on rescheduling the concerts. I am eagerly anticipating the opportunity to perform in Vancouver and deliver an exceptional show for everyone. Meanwhile, I extend my well wishes for good health and send abundant love to all. xoxo Pink.”

Pink looked back on the near-fatal overdose she had at age 16.

During a 60 Minutes interview, she recounted a Thanksgiving incident in 1995 when she attended a rave and suffered an overdose. "I had taken ecstasy, angel dust, crystal, and various other substances," she revealed.

Reflecting on the incident, the pop star admitted that it served as a wake-up call, leading her to cease drug use. "That was it for me," she asserted. "I had reached my limit. I couldn't take anymore."

Pink also shared the backstory behind her tumultuous teenage years, revealing the factors that caused her to veer off track.

Essentially, my upbringing was marred by constant household turmoil - my parents engaging in relentless screaming matches, hurling objects amidst their deep-rooted animosity towards each other. Consequently, I became entangled in the world of substance abuse, even resorting to drug dealing. Ultimately, this led to my expulsion from home and my subsequent decision to abandon my high school education.
