How to Carry More Pikmin in Pikmin 4
As players progress further in the game, they will encounter an increase in tasks and puzzles that require the use of various Pikmin combinations. To ensure successful completion, it becomes essential to bring as many Pikmin as possible to each level.
To expand the capacity for carrying Pikmin, one must locate a unique item called Flarlic. Resembling a lighter shade of the regular onion found at the base, Flarlic is scattered throughout the world. Once a Pikmin successfully transports a Flarlic back to the base, the Onion absorbs it, granting players the ability to carry an additional 10 Pikmin.
Wild Pikmin
In the Sun-Speckled Terrace and other caves, players have a unique opportunity to surpass their limit. It is during these explorations that Wild Pikmin may decide to join the squad, temporarily exceeding the current limit. As a result, players are granted a larger squad to utilize.
However, when returning to the surface, it will no longer be possible to be past the limit, and players will have to choose just which of the Pikmin to keep in their squad.
What is the Max Pikmin Carrying Limit
The maximum number of Pikmin that a character can control simultaneously in Pikmin 4 is limited to 100 Pikmin. Accumulating additional Flarlic creatures will not raise this cap any further. However, these creatures can still be gathered to obtain Nectar or Ultra-Spicy Nectar, which can be used by the player at their home base.
