Payday 3: Unlocking the Skies - Discovering Red and Blue Keycards and Keypad Locations

In Payday 3, players will embark on a thrilling infiltration mission to an executive penthouse in Touch the Sky for the final heist. Upon entering the mission area, players will be required to mask up right away. Therefore, a strategic approach and thorough preparation are crucial in order to successfully navigate the heist and secure all available loot.

To enhance their chances of completing this heist effortlessly, players should aim to acquire two essential tools: the red and blue keycards. These keycards can be found scattered throughout the penthouse. Here's a guide on locating them swiftly and getting closer to successfully completing Touch the Sky in Payday 3.

Blue Keycard Location

To acquire the blue keycard, players must discreetly snatch it from the belt of a patrolling security guard. Usually, one of the guards roaming the second-floor vicinity possesses the keycard. However, players may occasionally need to employ more cunning methods, such as luring guards from the lower level into a suitable location where they can be stealthily incapacitated or taken hostage.

Once in possession of the blue keycard, players should search two specific areas for the security room. This room is usually located upstairs, adjacent to the elevator. If players opt to ascend the main staircase, they should turn right and proceed to the end of the walkway. The keypad should be visible from the top of the stairs. It is important to note that this area is monitored by a single security camera, which players should either hack, evade, or destroy to avoid detection.

If the blue keypad cannot be located upstairs, players should proceed to the lower floor of the penthouse and search the hallway adjacent to the balcony. The security room should be present in one of the two rooms along this corridor. Although there are several security guards patrolling this area, players can utilize stealth and the surrounding foliage to evade surveillance cameras and reach the desired area without resorting to hostage-taking or wearing masks.

Upon gaining entry into the security room, players must eliminate the guard to disable the security cameras installed throughout the penthouse.

Red Keycard Location

The red keycard can be found in the penthouse filing office. To unlock the door and enter the office, players must hack the security chief's phone and obtain the QR code. They can either discreetly approach the security chief or take him hostage to gain access and hack his phone.

Once the hack is successful, players should search for the QR scanner in the same locations where they previously found the security room and blue keypad. The filing office can appear in any of these possible locations, with one room being upstairs and the other in the downstairs hallway during each heist attempt. Inside the office, players should thoroughly search the filing cabinets to locate the red keycard, which provides access to the main office upstairs where the vault is situated.
