Paul Giamatti and his girlfriend Clara Wong had a date night at the National Board of Review Gala in New York City on Thursday, January 11. Giamatti, 56, looked dapper in a gray suit while Wong stunned in a black gown as they posed together on the red carpet. The gala is an annual event that celebrates the art of cinema.
At the 2024 Golden Globes on Sunday, January 7, Giamatti revealed his relationship with Wong while accepting the Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy award for his portrayal of Paul Hunham in The Holdovers.
In his speech, Giamatti declared, "I want to express my love for my lovely girlfriend, Clara Wong. I don't know why you put up with me."
Fans were shocked to discover that the couple’s love story originated on Billions, where Giamatti portrayed Chuck Rhoades from 2016 to 2023, and Wong made intermittent guest appearances as Mistress Troy across the show’s seven seasons.
