Unless you've been completely oblivious to cinematic events, chances are you've witnessed the phenomenon that is Oppenheimer. This latest masterpiece from director Nolan graced the silver screen during the summer season, precisely on July 21, 2023.

Oppenheimer made a significant impact with its IMAX screenings, despite facing competition from Barbie, which also debuted on the same day. The collaboration between Nolan and IMAX is well-known, as his visually stunning and grandiose films often complement the immersive experience that IMAX provides.

However, this partnership appeared to have ended in August this year. Nevertheless, the captivating visuals of Oppenheimer will once again grace the IMAX screen, but only for a limited weekend.

When and where can I watch Oppenheimer in IMAX?

Oppenheimer will be available in select IMAX cinemas “next weekend,” though specific dates are yet to be given.

Unfortunately, this fantastic experience will not be available at all venues. However, you can catch it at four select domestic locations – Lincoln Square, Universal City, Metreon, and Irvine Spectrum – all equipped with 70MM screens.
