Unraveling the Mystery: Dragon's Inaction in One Piece - The heartbreaking fate of Ginny remains unexplained as Dragon's perplexing decision to not save her raises questions Delve into the untold reasons behind his inaction and discover the hidden truths that lie beneath

In the recent chapter of One Piece, it was revealed that Ginny, a former slave, suffered a tragic fate as Dragon chose not to rescue her. However, there is a specific reason behind Dragon's inability to save her. Currently, the One Piece manga is delving into Kuma's past through a flashback, which introduces Ginny as a revolutionary who had once been enslaved. Alongside Kuma and Ivankov, Ginny had devised a brilliant plan to rescue 500 civilians and slaves from God Valley.

After the God Valley Incident, Ginny resided in the Sorbet Kingdom alongside Kuma, before eventually uniting with Dragon and joining his newly formed Revolutionary Army. Her exceptional abilities lauded her the position of East Army commander within the organization.

Regrettably, Ginny's fate took a tragic turn when she fell into the clutches of a Celestial Dragon during one of her missions. Enslaved as the spouse of this high-ranking noble, she endured this predicament for two years. Unfortunately, her health deteriorated as she contracted a fatal illness known as "Sapphire Scales," resulting in her abandonment. Surprisingly, even Dragon, the leader of the Revolutionary Army, made no attempts to rescue her. To uncover the reasons behind Dragon's decision not to rescue Ginny, delve further into the story within the realm of One Piece.

After learning about Ginny's kidnapping, Dragon's mind immediately took him two years into the past, where Kuma fought tirelessly in one battle after another, consumed by heartbreak. Although everyone was concerned about her, they were bound by their obligations and limitations. The reason Dragon couldn't rescue Ginny in the world of One Piece was simply because he lacked the necessary resources.

Around 12-14 years ago, the Revolutionary Army found themselves struggling to make ends meet. Meanwhile, Ginny was being held captive in Mary Geoise, the sacred realm inhabited by the highest-ranking members of the World Government. This fortified location was safeguarded by Admirals, the Fleet Admiral, the Commander-in-Chief of the World Government, and even the Holy Knights. Engaging them in war under these circumstances would inevitably lead to their own defeat.

Additionally, during the time when Dragon saved Sabo, he expressed his belief that he lacked the strength to bring about significant change in the Goa Kingdom. Consequently, if he was unable to rescue a small kingdom in the East Blue, it served as an even stronger justification to refrain from launching an invasion on Mary Geoise.

As an individual entrusted with the well-being of numerous soldiers and allied nations, Dragon could not afford to recklessly sacrifice everything for the sake of a single commander. Nevertheless, he was not devoid of empathy and consideration. When Kuma expressed his desire to depart from the Revolutionary Army and informed Dragon about Bonney's illness, he never turned a blind eye to the situation.

Dragon permitted him to tend to her well-being and even pledged to procure the world's finest physicians for her. Additionally, seizing the opportunity presented by the Reverie, he dispatched Sabo and his elite troops to infiltrate Mary Geoise, fully intending to initiate a conflict with the Celestial Dragons. The Revolutionary Army also placed utmost importance on rescuing Kuma and a multitude of other enslaved individuals.

Editor's P/S

As a Gen Z fan, I have mixed feelings about Dragon's decision not to save Ginny. On the one hand, I understand that he had to prioritize the safety of the Revolutionary Army and its members. Attacking Mary Geoise would have been a reckless move that could have resulted in the deaths of many innocent people. On the other hand, I can't help but feel that Dragon could have done more to save Ginny. He is the leader of the Revolutionary Army, after all, and he has the resources and influence to make things happen.

Overall, I think Dragon's decision not to save Ginny was a mistake. It shows that he is not as infallible as we thought he was. However, I still believe that he is a good person who is fighting for the right cause. I hope that he will learn from this mistake and do better in the future.
