The company has announced the return of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle and two Switch Lite Bundles featuring Animal Crossing: New Horizons. These bundles will be available starting in October, a month before Black Friday.

Beginning on Friday, October 6, the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle will make its return to store shelves in the US. Initially launched in 2020, this bundle will consist of a basic Switch console, a digital voucher for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and a three-month subscription to the Nintendo Switch Online service. Given the immense success of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as the top-selling Nintendo Switch game, this new bundle is bound to contribute to its already impressive sales figures. However, despite the anticipation surrounding this announcement, some social media users are expressing disappointment over the absence of any themed designs on the console or the Joy-Con controllers in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle. Moreover, it's worth noting that the DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is not included in this bundle, as it can be separately acquired via the Nintendo eShop or the Expansion Pack upgrade for the Switch Online service.

In addition to the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle, two new Nintendo Switch Lite bundles will also be available starting October 6. These bundles will showcase artwork from Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the casing of the consoles and will include digital copies of the game. One of these bundles, titled the Isabelle's Aloha Edition, will be exclusively offered at Target in the US. It features a pink console adorned with leaf patterns on the back and an Animal Crossing logo positioned next to the Home Button on the right side. The other bundle, known as Timmy and Tommy's Aloha Edition, will be exclusive to Walmart in the US and sports a teal shade.
