Idris Elba, a Golden Globe winner, has shared his exciting news about writing and directing a new short film. This project is part of his ongoing efforts to support Africa's creative economy. The film, titled "Dust to Dreams," will star music legend Seal and will be produced by Nigerian superproducer Mo Abudu.

The short film, "Dust to Dreams," written by Elba, will showcase a talented cast including Seal, Nollywood actresses Eku Edewor and Atlanta Bridget Johnson. Additionally, former Nigerian Idol contestant Constance Olatunde, also known as "Konstance," will be making her debut in this film.

The project is a collaboration between "Luther" and "The Wire" star and Abudu's EbonyLife Films. It aims to develop emerging African talent and support creative industries across the continent. The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) is also involved through its program called Creative Africa Nexus (Canex). Abudu will be both executive producer and producer.
