Nic Kerdiles, Savannah Chrisley's former fiancé who passed away in a tragic motorcycle accident, had alcohol in his system at the time, as per an autopsy report acquired by TMZ on November 16. The Nashville medical examiner confirmed the presence of ethanol in Kerdiles' blood after conducting toxicology tests, estimating his blood alcohol level to be approximately 0.124%. (The legal limit for individuals aged 21 and above is 0.08%.)
According to the medical examiner, Kerdiles' cause of death was determined to be accidental, resulting from multiple blunt traumatic injuries. The news of Kerdiles' passing at the age of 29, as reported by TMZ in late September, stated that he had suffered injuries in an early-morning crash. Allegedly, Kerdiles ran through a stop sign and collided his motorcycle with the side of a BMW sedan. Both drivers were taken to a nearby hospital by the police, but unfortunately, Kerdiles succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
Following the news of Kerdiles' death, Chrisley, 26, finally spoke out about it. She expressed her grief and love for him, pledging to keep their last messages of "I love you" forever. Through her Instagram Story, she requested a sign that he was okay, suggesting it could be in the form of a ham and cheese crepe, pasta with white sauce, or his favorite carrot cake.

On the one month anniversary of his death, Chrisley penned a touching tribute.
"It's hard to believe that a whole month has passed since we said goodbye," she wrote on her Instagram Story in October. Alongside her message, she posted a picture of herself and Kerdiles enjoying a meal together in Nashville.
Chrisley and Kerdiles first started dating in November 2017 and got engaged after two years of being together. However, they decided to cancel their wedding plans in September 2020. Despite their romantic split, they managed to maintain a friendly relationship.
Savannah exclusively told Us in November 2020 that she and Nic are on good terms despite their split. She acknowledged their youth and ambition, stating that they are both navigating their path in life. Savannah emphasized that no decision is permanent, leaving room for the possibility of reconnection. However, it was revealed that Kerdiles and Chrisley briefly reconciled in 2021 before ultimately ending their relationship for good. Chrisley has since moved on with her boyfriend, Robert Shiver.
“Sometimes … it just works ️” she captioned a series of PDA-filled photos with Shiver, 38, in November making their relationship Instagram official.
