The Netherlands' Euro 2024 qualifying campaign regained momentum with a convincing 3-0 win against Greece, propelling them to second place in Group B.
Leading the group with a flawless record, France secured their fifth consecutive victory by defeating the Republic of Ireland 2-0. Aurelien Tchouameni and Marcus Thuram were the scorers in this triumph.
The Netherlands have taken the lead in Group E, securing their position with a second consecutive win. Marten de Roon, Cody Gakpo from Liverpool, and Wout Weghorst, currently on loan at Burnley, were the goal scorers. Meanwhile, Albania maintains their challenge in the group as they draw 1-1 with the Czech Republic, remaining ahead of Poland.
Nedim Bajrami equalized with a goal in the 66th minute, undoing Vaclav Cerny's opening goal to secure a point for their team in Prague. In another match, Robert Lewandowski netted two goals, one of which was from a penalty, leading the Polish team to a 2-0 victory over the Faroe Islands.
Meanwhile, Hungary managed to overturn a deficit and triumph over Serbia with a 2-1 scoreline, giving them a comfortable three-point lead at the top of Group G. Barnabas Varga and Willi Orban both found the back of the net within a span of three minutes in the first half, recovering from an early own goal by Atila Szalai.

Christian Eriksen, Denmark's playmaker, showcased his exceptional passing abilities in their Euro 2024 Group H qualifier against San Marino. He not only scored a goal but also assisted in creating two more, contributing significantly to his team's comfortable 4-0 triumph over the visiting side.
Eriksen's opportunity to break the tie was thwarted 20 minutes in as VAR overturned a penalty decision. However, the Danish team quickly secured the lead thanks to Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. Skillfully receiving a well-placed pass from Jonas Wind, the determined midfielder smoothly struck the ball with his right foot, finding the back of the net and opening the scoreline in the 26th minute.
Two minutes after the first goal, Eriksen impressively wrong-footed the San Marino defence with a superb backheel pass, sending the ball perfectly to Joakim Maehle who swiftly evaded the goalkeeper and effortlessly sealed the deal. Already making his 123rd appearance for Denmark, Eriksen marked his second assist in the 40th minute by setting up striker Wind for a goal. As for himself, Eriksen seized the opportunity to score in the dying moments of the second half, taking advantage of San Marino's unsuspecting goalkeeper Elia Benedettini who was caught off guard by a speculative cross.
The substitute Yussuf Poulsen was initially given credit for the goal, but later updates on UEFA's website changed the attribution to Eriksen, completing a fantastic evening for the 31-year-old.
With this victory, Denmark secures the second position in the group with 10 points from five games. They are two points behind the leaders Finland and ahead of Slovenia, who hold the third spot solely based on goal difference.
