Netflix's New Western 'The Abandons' Enlists Lamar Johnson Alongside Lena Heady and Gillian Anderson

Netflix has revealed more actors joining the cast of the upcoming series The Abandons, created by Kurt Sutter from Sons of Anarchy. The new additions include Lamar Johnson, known for his role in HBO's The Last of Us and his standout performance in two Season 1 episodes.

For those unfamiliar, Johnson portrayed Henry, the older brother of Sam (Keivonn Woodward), and left a lasting impression with his brief appearance on the show. In The Abandons, Johnson takes on the role of Albert Mason.

The Abandons is a thrilling action drama set in the American West. Alongside Johnson, the new cast members are Nick Robinson (Maid), Diana Silvers (Booksmart), Lucas Till (MacGyver), Aisling Franciosi (God's Creatures), and Natalia del Riego (Promised Land). Lena Heady and Gillian Anderson were previously announced as part of the cast.
