Netflix's 2024 Game Lineup: Featuring Sonic Mania Plus, Cozy Grove 2, and More

Netflix Games has recently revealed its lineup for 2024, including a sequel to a popular indie game from 2021 and a retro adventure featuring a well-known blue hedgehog. One of the anticipated additions to the Netflix Games roster is Sonic Mania Plus, which will be making its mobile debut exclusively on the streaming service. Players can look forward to enjoying the full console experience, complete with all modes, zones, and playable characters, when it launches on the Netflix app.

The game—whose developer Spry Fox was acquired by Netflix in October 2022—will once again immerse players in the role of a Spirit Scout as they befriend and aid animal apparitions on a haunted island.

Two other games coming to Netflix were also revealed in the announcement: Game Dev Tycoon and Fashionverse. Fashionverse is hailed as the "first AI-enhanced, 3D mobile Fashion game featuring inclusive models in photo realistic scenes", while the new Netflix Edition of the mobile smash hit Game Dev Tycoon will enable players to create games based on movies and TV properties as part of their studio's portfolio.

With every Netflix subscription, access to Netflix Games is included. These games can be found within the standard Netflix app on iOS and Android devices, where they can be selected, downloaded, and launched as separate apps.
