After the announcement of NCIS: Origins, Paramount+ revealed another spinoff as part of their expansion of the franchise. This new NCIS offshoot will focus on Tony and Ziva, beloved characters from the original series who left in seasons 13 and 11. Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo, the original actors for Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, will return to their roles and also serve as executive producers alongside Laurie Lieser, John McNamara, Christina Straina, and Shelley Meals.
