NASCAR’s Bubba Wallace Marries Fiancee Amanda on New Year’s Eve

NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace and his wife, Amanda Wallace, are excited to announce that they are expecting their first baby.

The couple shared the happy news in a joint Instagram post on Wednesday, April 17, saying, “Spring has sprung. Summer will be rad. Fall is the first time, we’ll be mom and dad!” They revealed that Baby Wallace is expected to arrive in October 2024.

The pregnancy reveal announcement included a slideshow of photos. In one photo, Bubba, 30, and Amanda were sitting in the front seats of an old school van with their baby's sonogram hanging from the rearview mirror. Another picture showed Bubba embracing his wife while she held the sonogram over her belly. They also included a photo with their dog Asher.

Many of Bubba's fellow racecar drivers commented on the announcement, expressing their excitement for the couple.

Scott McLaughlin, an Indy Car driver, excitedly replied, "Let's go!" while NASCAR driver Derrell Edwards expressed his congratulations, saying, "Congrats guys!!! What a blessing."

The official NASCAR account also showed love to Bubba and his wife by responding with heart emojis.

Bubba shared the exciting news on his X page. He hinted that his upcoming child might be born around his birthday, which falls on October 8.

He playfully mentioned, "It would be the worst to have a baby on your birthday/birthday week." He then added, "Me: 'Well damn ... OK.' Coming ... my birthday week."

Bubba and Amanda got married on New Year’s Eve 2022, following their engagement the year prior.

In January 2023, Bubba shared on Instagram how amazing the off-season was, expressing that nothing could top marrying his best friend. He posted photos from their wedding and honeymoon, looking forward to making 2023 an unforgettable year.

Bubba and Amanda were classmates in high school, but their relationship didn't turn romantic until later on. It wasn't until 2015, when they reconnected at a college football game, that they started dating. Sparks flew between them, and Bubba eventually convinced Amanda to join him in Las Vegas for a race after asking multiple times.

Amanda shared with People in December 2023, "He asked me a few times, and after some resistance, I finally agreed. I wanted to get to know him better before spending a week together on vacation. Our relationship truly began in Vegas because we had been talking so much and had developed strong feelings for each other."
