In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, a resourceful Zelda fan invents a frozen meat-powered vehicle. The game introduces the Ultrahand ability, allowing players to construct and operate unique contraptions and vehicles by combining objects. Utilizing Zonai devices, players can supply power to these innovative creations.
Once players acquire the Ultrahand ability from one of the Great Sky Island shrines, they can begin assembling objects and crafting their own vehicles in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Rauru offers suggestions to Link, the protagonist, regarding construction ideas. However, players have the freedom to explore the island and discover the game's mechanics, ultimately deciding which ideas to pursue. Furthermore, various locations on Sky Island may provide helpful clues on how to access distant areas.
In Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, player Superruub61 has created a unique vehicle that runs on frozen meat. This can be easily obtained by striking raw meat with ice elemental weapons. The vehicle is constructed by connecting four handrails to create a triangular frame, with frozen meat attached to the bottom. While the vehicle lacks Zonai wheels and a steering stick, it can still be started by striking the frame in any direction. The force from Link's strike allows the vehicle to slide across land, much like ice skates. Additionally, rapid strikes from a spear can increase momentum while inside the frozen meat vehicle. To steer, Superrubb61 hits one of the handrails in the desired direction. The vehicle is also capable of floating in water, as demonstrated in Superrubb61's recorded clip. However, without the use of Zonai fans or rockets, the vehicle becomes immobile in water.
Superruub61's creation showcases the potential of using the Ultrahand ability in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom to implement various ideas, despite the frozen meat vehicle being cumbersome for some players. Moreover, players have the opportunity to enhance and customize this concept by incorporating Zonai devices. A Zonai rocket and wheels, for instance, can greatly enhance the vehicle's land traversal speed, while a Zonai steering stick and set of wheels enable players to have direct control over the vehicle.
The possibilities for building ideas in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom seem limitless as players continuously explore Hyrule and discover new attachable objects. Although Nintendo has not yet officially announced any new DLC for this highly successful title, it is conceivable that future expansions could encompass fresh Autobuild schematics and attachable objects.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now for Nintendo Switch.
