A while back, Sunrise unveiled a summary for Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM in anticipation of the movie's debut and promotional campaign. The translated excerpt stated:
The Cosmic Era (C.E.) is a time period in which both genetically modified humans known as Coordinators, possessing superior intellect and physical abilities, coexist with naturally born humans known as Naturals. In the past, a fierce conflict arose between the Coordinators and Naturals, as their differing beliefs clashed regarding their individual identities and existence.
"During that period, the Destiny Plan was proposed as a potential solution to create a war-free world, but at the cost of individual autonomy. In order to safeguard humanity's right to choose their own path and preserve hope, the Destiny Plan was vehemently rejected in the battle. After numerous sacrifices, the war finally came to an end. However, despite this, conflicts and animosity between the two human factions persist across the globe."
"With just a few months remaining until its highly anticipated release, it appears that fans will not be let down by the long-awaited Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM."
