Players of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can use in-game tools to construct impressive devices, including fully functioning trains.

Wombatoflife, a dedicated Zelda enthusiast, amazed the gaming community with their expert craftsmanship in constructing a remarkable train within the virtual world of Hyrule. Utilizing various in-game elements such as mine carts, a Zonai Mirror, a Zonai Fan, and a Frost Emitter, Wombatoflife successfully achieved astonishing levels of detail and authenticity in their creation.

A player in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has impressively built a train using the game's tools. The game allows players to unleash their creativity by providing them with abilities and tools to construct various devices. Among the many creations players have come up with, vehicles for navigating the vast open world of Hyrule are just one example.

Trains are not unfamiliar in The Legend of Zelda series. In 2009, Nintendo released The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks for the Nintendo DS. This game allows Link to take on the role of a train conductor, using a network of tracks across Hyrule to explore towns and dungeons on foot. Despite being often overlooked, Spirit Tracks is considered a hidden gem within the series.

In the realm of Hyrule, dedicated Zelda fans are breathing life into a long-awaited dream of a train transportation system. Utilizing the remarkable construction capabilities of Tears of the Kingdom, one such enthusiast, known as Wombatoflife, has showcased their impressive talent for building functional trains in a video shared on the HyruleEngineering subreddit. This online community serves as a gathering place for Tears of the Kingdom players, who share their innovative creations to inspire others to think outside the box and explore new, thrilling directions.

Wombatoflife ingeniously employed Tears of the Kingdom's Ultrahand ability to seamlessly connect various Zonai devices and common components scattered across Hyrule. Commencing their creation in Eldin, a northeastern region adorned with intricate train tracks used primarily for transporting ores via small mine carts, Wombatoflife ingeniously fused together four such carts to form the train's sturdy frame. Additionally, by cleverly flipping a fifth cart, they artfully crafted an engine cart replica. The front cart was adorned with a Zonai Mirror, which powerfully reflects sunlight, generating an illuminating beam comparable to a train's headlight. Remarkably, the entire train is propelled by what appears to be a solitary Zonai Fan situated at the rear.

Adding a chimney is essential for a complete train experience, and Wombatoflife went above and beyond by incorporating a Zonai Stabilizer at the top of the stacked mine carts, functioning as the engine car. To enhance its functionality, a Zonai Frost Emitter was placed on top of the stabilizer. Once the entire setup is activated by engaging the Zonai Steering Stick in the third cart, the Frost Emitter comes into action, releasing a continuous haze of frost into the atmosphere. Ordinarily, this would freeze anything in its path, but when directed upwards, it poses no harm and serves as the perfect finishing touch to bring the train to life.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is now available for the Nintendo Switch.
