Prior to portraying Ritter, he played Lane Tucker, a compassionate young man assisting his ailing father, in a standalone episode of Chicago Med season 3.

1 Guy Lockard

Guy Lockard is known for his portrayal of Dr. Dylan Scott in Chicago Med since the show's seventh season premiered in September 2021. Dr. Scott joined the hospital staff after transitioning from his previous career as a police officer. It is worth noting that Lockard's character did not originate in Chicago P.D., despite his law enforcement background. Before his role in Chicago Med, Lockard appeared in a supporting capacity in an episode of Chicago Fire's eighth season, where he played a distressed father who tethered himself to a fire engine.

Entitled "Light Things Up," Lockard debuted on Chicago Fire in April 2020, a year and five months prior to his appearance on Chicago Med. Dr. Scott's character eventually opted to depart from the hospital and his medical profession due to struggling with distinguishing his work from the justice system. As a result, Lockard solely featured in seasons 7 and 8 of Chicago Med.
