What To Expect From Star Trek: Lower Decks & Strange New Worlds Crossover Episode
Yeah, to some extent. It was an absolute blast! Although I didn't have the chance to directly collaborate with Tawny, I had the opportunity to work with Jack. The table read before the episode with both of them was an absolute joy. The tone of Lower Decks is so unique and dynamic, making it faster and funnier. Their energy injected into the cast was incredibly cool. It truly was an exhilarating experience.
Director Jonathan Frakes characterizes the Strange New Worlds crossover with Star Trek: Lower Decks as an outright comedy. The trailers for SNW season 2 have already showcased the exciting encounter between Boimler and Mariner with Captain Pike, Lt. Spock (Ethan Peck), and Lt. La'an Noonien-Singh (Christina Chong). Jess Bush confirms that there will be scenes between Nurse Chapel and Boimler portrayed by Jack Quaid, which brings anticipation as to what amusing interactions they might have. Additionally, it appears that the Lower Deckers may split up and conquer the Enterprise, resulting in undoubtedly unforgettable moments with various crew members.
