"If there were to be a Star Wars reboot that revolves around the Skywalker family, I would definitely find that intriguing. Because to capture my interest, it would have to be a venture that is audacious, unconventional, and exceptionally courageous."

The director questioned why they couldn't do something similar to what had been done with Spider-Man and Bond, who had multiple iterations. He expressed his desire to see the original characters like Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, and Chewie in a significant and daring story, rather than focusing on distant relatives. Vaughn seemed to share the belief that introducing a new protagonist like Daisy Ridley's Rey may not be the best direction for an upcoming Star Wars film. In an interview with Den of Geek, he reiterated his idea of rebooting Star Wars and going back to include Skywalker and Vader in a fresh start. Despite the notion that the Skywalker story might be concluded, Vaughn boldly expressed his willingness to take on the challenge of telling the Skywalker family's story in Star Wars.

Vaughn, although not currently involved in a Star Wars project, is making significant strides in his career.
