A Minecraft player has found an impressive way to prank their friend using a TNT and Observer trap build.

The trap design incorporates various components to create a chain reaction without causing harm to the player. It includes a Minecraft Observer and signs used as a protective barrier.

It is important to note that in the video, the trap is designed to be safe. However, if explosive TNT is not properly planned and implemented, it can potentially result in the death of unprotected players and destruction of their possessions.

A Minecraft player has showcased an impressive trap build using TNT and Observers to play a prank on their friend. While there are numerous methods to prank others in Minecraft, some bordering on griefing, this player seems to have discovered a safe way to startle their friend.

Mojang continues to enhance Minecraft with fresh mobs, blocks, and additional features. The recently released Trails and Tales update introduced the Sniffer, a cherry-blossom biome, bamboo wood, and more. Equipped with various tools, Minecraft players have cleverly devised unique traps to ensnare mobs and fellow players. While most traps for Minecraft mobs are commonly incorporated into farms, those designed by players mostly aim to impede or annoy others. However, this player has developed an intriguing trap design that could allow others to easily spook their friends.

A Reddit user, FIESTeG, recently shared a video of their friend playing a prank on them in Minecraft. The video starts with the player facing a block of Netherrack, hesitating before hitting it. This action triggers a sequence of events that causes the sand around the player to dissolve, resulting in a dangerous fall of several blocks deep. Luckily, FIESTeG is equipped with Elytra and rockets, allowing them to quickly fly back up through the hole they fell from to see what happened. They discover that the Netherrack was placed on top of a Minecraft Observer. The video ends with their friend approaching them.

Although it's a brief moment, the trap cleverly uses various components to create a domino effect without harming the player. The Minecraft Observer is strategically placed above a TNT block in the middle of the sand, with rows of signs acting as a shield for any falling players. Once triggered, the TNT explosion causes the sand around the Netherrack trap to collapse, taking the player down with it. FIESTeG's video showcases this trap set above a deep mine, allowing the player to fall a significant distance without perishing. It's worth noting that the trap could also include a pool at the bottom to prevent non-Elytra-wearing players from dying, although it's not utilized in this particular TNT trap.

The trap featured in FIESTeG's video is deemed safe; however, it is crucial to note that the detonation of Minecraft TNT without proper protection can result in the death of players. Furthermore, if the trap is not adequately constructed, it has the potential to damage and destroy the belongings of the unsuspecting victims. Given FIESTeG and their friend's penchant for regularly pranking each other, it is likely that this trap build is not their final endeavor.

Minecraft is currently accessible on various platforms including Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and legacy platforms.
