Minecraft and Nerf collaborated to create real-life Nerf guns inspired by Minecraft, and a player has now made in-game models of these guns.
The player's models in the game feature replicas of various Minecraft characters such as the Chicken, Ender Dragon, Ghast, Guardian, Snow Golem, and more. Although certain Nerf weapons are not currently part of the player's models, there is a possibility of future collaborations between Minecraft and Nerf. However, it is unlikely that these collaborations will be added to the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft.
A Minecraft player has created in-game versions of real-life Nerf guns, such as the Chicken and Ender Dragon. These Minecraft Nerf guns were initially released in 2021, featuring different creatures from the game. However, the concept has now come full circle with this replica idea.
Since its release in 2011, Minecraft has garnered an impressive player base. As Mojang continued to update the game, more people were introduced to its immersive world, and it remains popular to this day. Building on its ongoing success, Minecraft and Nerf joined forces to develop various Nerf guns inspired by the game. These guns draw inspiration from both new and classic creatures that have been introduced in Minecraft over the years. Taking cues from these real-life Nerf guns, a talented player has created in-game renditions of most of them.
Reddit user MushirMickeyJoe recently shared an image showcasing eight Minecraft-themed Nerf guns that closely resemble the in-game models. The collection includes iconic characters such as the Minecraft Chicken, Cave Spider, Elder Guardian, Ender Dragon, Ghast, Guardian, and Snow Golem Microshots. Additionally, MushirMickeyJoe introduced a unique design, the Nerf Dragon, as an alternative build to the Ender Dragon Microshot. These Minecraft-inspired weapons have been meticulously scaled down to fit perfectly into the hands of player characters. Notably, the Snow Golem Microshot stands out with its captivating custom reload animations that dynamically alter the appearance of the weapon.
While MushirMickeyJoe's models are impressive, there are several other Minecraft-themed Nerf weapons that have not been featured, including the Stormlander Hammer, Heartstealer Sword, Pillager's Crossbow, and Sabrewing Bow. Furthermore, Minecraft's partnership with Nerf extends beyond these guns, with the inclusion of Super Soakers modeled after the Minecraft Glow Squid and Axolotl. Although the collaborative effort does not encompass the entirety of Nerf's real-life arsenal, the Minecraft Nerf world—a remarkable creation—is accessible to players for free through the Marketplace. This virtual world offers players a glimpse into the functionality of these firearms within the Minecraft universe, while MushirMickeyJoe's designs essentially encompass the entire lineup of Minecraft-inspired Nerf guns.
While Minecraft Nerf weapons are included in the official collaboration, players may be interested in the unique ones highlighted in MushirMickeyJoe's image. As Minecraft and Nerf have recently partnered to create in-game content, it is possible that additional Nerf guns inspired by the game will be introduced in the future. However, since the primary Minecraft experience does not prioritize guns, it is unlikely that any of the Nerf lineups will be added to the Bedrock Edition.
Minecraft is currently accessible on various platforms, including mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and legacy platforms.
