A player in Diablo 4 has successfully utilized the game's transmog system to recreate Elden Ring's Starscourage Radahn within the game. Diablo 4, which was highly anticipated and lived up to expectations upon its recent release, offers players the freedom to personalize their characters. The transmog system in Diablo 4 empowers players to maintain the attributes of a specific armor piece without actually equipping it. This feature, commonly found in many RPGs, allows fashion-conscious players to customize their character's appearance without compromising functionality. Essentially, if a particular armor piece is aesthetically pleasing but a different set offers better stats, players can don the visually pleasing armor while still benefitting from the superior attributes of the other set.
In Diablo 4's subreddit, a fan named Broken_Mau23 utilized the transmog system to outfit their character with an armor set reminiscent of Starscourge Radahn's attire from Elden Ring. Radahn's armor set features intricate silver and gold plates adorned with fur trim, contrasted by a striking blood-red mane atop the helmet. Broken_Mau23 managed to find a suitable replacement for Radahn's iconic helmet by utilizing Diablo 4's Zischagge helm. Though the chest piece in Diablo 4 lacks the same level of ornateness, Broken_Mau23 opted for the Warlord Plate, which boasts grandiose shoulder pads that closely resemble Radahn's extravagant armor.
For the lower body, the resourceful Diablo 4 player selected Strider's Handwraps, which, while not an exact match for Radahn's silver and gold gauntlets, share a similar color and tone. As for the legs, Broken_Mau23 donned the Sand-Worn Breeches, which closely resemble Radahn's armor and are perhaps the best representation of it in Diablo 4.
Radahn, initially an incredibly formidable boss in Elden Ring, was later adjusted in an early patch to reduce his level of difficulty. However, fans were captivated by his distinctive visual style. One noteworthy aspect that garnered fan admiration was his horse, named Leonard, which unfortunately is absent in Radahn's iconography. Radahn's ability to float keeps him balanced on top of his cherished yet diminutive horse, ensuring it remains unharmed. While Diablo 4 features horses and even equine armor, it is highly unlikely that Blizzard will incorporate a similarly small and scrawny horse like Leonard in the near future.
Diablo 4 can be played on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
