The GameCube mech, as showcased by Twitter user Exoskellet, bears a striking resemblance to the actual console, complete with its iconic purple hue, well-known logo, and conveniently placed controller ports.
Exoskellet's meticulous approach towards personalizing this mech demonstrates the exciting possibility of future creations that mimic beloved gaming consoles such as the Super Nintendo or N64.
A fan of Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon has showcased their creative skills by transforming their mech into a Nintendo GameCube. When Armored Core 6 was launched, it brought new life to the franchise and gained immense popularity for its customization features.
The customization options in Armored Core 6 allow players to personalize their mechs by altering various aspects such as their parts, paint, and decals. Since the game's release, players have shared numerous impressive creations, including mechs modeled after Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy 7, Homer from The Simpsons, and Kirby. While other mechs have used a separate Nintendo GameCube code to display the logo, this particular creation has been designed to closely resemble the console itself.
Twitter user Exoskellet recently shared two screenshots of their custom-made Nintendo GameCube mech from Armored Core 6. The resemblance to the sixth-gen Nintendo console is striking, with the exact shade of purple as the console's primary color. Exoskellet's mech incorporates the Nintendo GameCube text found on top of the console instead of the logo used by other creators. Positioned beneath a central black circle is a decal resembling the GameCube's iconic power light. The mech's chest features four GameCube controller ports, complete with indicators and memory card slots.
From the screenshots, it is evident that Exoskellet has meticulously modified each component of the Armored Core 6 mech to achieve this unique design. This would involve customizing various parts such as the head, core, arms, legs, back units, generator, booster, FCS, and expansion options, ensuring a cohesive aesthetic. Although lacking the exact replica of the GameCube's reset, power, and open buttons, Exoskellet's mech successfully captures the essence of a battle-ready Nintendo console. Nintendo enthusiasts who desire a GameCube-inspired mech can access the design through Exoskellet's Armored Core 6 Share ID. Furthermore, since the mech is already designed to resemble a Nintendo GameCube, it can easily be customized to feature alternative colors such as black, silver, or orange, replicating various versions of the beloved console.
Exoskellet probably invested significant time in customizing their mech to closely resemble the GameCube due to their meticulousness. As the gaming community continues to develop awe-inspiring Armored Core 6 mechs, upcoming designs may showcase the likeness of other consoles such as the Super Nintendo or N64.
