The ongoing drama between Teresa Giudice and her brother Joe Gorga is a major source of conflict on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Rumors about the filming of Season 14 have been circulating, but tensions escalated when all of Gorga's children unfollowed their aunt. Giudice has been clear about her decision to cut ties with her brother and his wife, Melissa, despite their resistance. The family's issues started when the Gorgas joined the series in Season 3 and have only worsened over time. The situation reached a breaking point when the Gorgas chose not to attend Giudice's wedding to Luis Ruelas in 2022.
The Season 14 finale, which has just been filmed, appears to have been the final straw for Melissa and Joe's kids. Antonia Gorga, Gino Gorga, and Joey Gorga are shared by Melissa and Joe. According to reports, Giudice called Melissa a derogatory term during the finale when she intervened in an argument between Danielle Cabral and Jennifer Aydin. Giudice also allegedly told Melissa to be quiet using strong language during the heat of the argument.

In The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Giudice's daughters often accuse the Gorgas of perpetuating the family feud. Gia Giudice has also hinted at her lack of fondness for her aunt, Melissa. During a May 2023 episode of her mother's podcast, Namaste B$tches, Gia shared that she is unable to access Melissa's Instagram page using three different accounts.
"She has blocked me on my public account, my private account, and my clothing line account," Gia revealed. "It was strange," she elaborated. "One day, someone told me she posted something about me, so I tried to take a look, but I realized I'm blocked on everything. I'm blocked from all of her platforms." Prior to this incident, Gia made comments that hinted at her belief that Melissa was not a suitable wife for her uncle. Joe has always maintained that his family never approved of Melissa and created obstacles for her. Following the debacle at the wedding, the Giudice children vowed to sever ties with their uncle.
Melissa, on the other hand, has made efforts to ensure that her children steer clear of the conflicts among the adults and continue attending Teresa's events in order to maintain their relationship with their cousins. Despite being close in the past, Antonia and Milania's bond has begun to weaken. Therefore, it is significant that the Gorga children have chosen to unfollow their aunt, as it goes beyond a trivial feud between families.

As a Gen Z fan, I have been following the drama between Teresa Giudice and her brother Joe Gorga's children on social media. I think it's really sad that the kids are being dragged into their parents' feud. They're just kids, and they shouldn't have to deal with this kind of drama.
I think it's really unfair that Teresa Giudice has been calling Melissa Gorga derogatory names and telling her to be quiet. That's no way to talk to anyone, let alone your sister-in-law. I think Melissa has been really patient and understanding throughout all of this, and I admire her for that.
I hope that the Gorgas and Giudices can eventually work things out for the sake of their children. It's clear that the kids are really struggling with all of this, and they don't deserve to be put in the middle of their parents' feud.
