Introduction to The Traitors US Season 2

The Traitors US season 2 premiered with its first three episodes, introducing the brand new cast and finally revealing who the initial traitors are. The series has made some changes to the newest season, and things are more interesting than ever in the highlands of Scotland where the traitor's castle is alive once again with backstabbing, betrayal, and a bounty of cash for the prize pot. While the cast of The Traitors US season 2 has been available for months, it wasn’t certain how many of the cast members would be traitors, and which cast members would be selected for the treacherous role in the newest season.

Chosen as saboteurs, the traitors of the cast must work alongside the rest of The Traitors US season 2 faithful as though they’re playing the game. In the cloak of darkness, however, the traitors are tasked with choosing faithfuls to murder, hoping to cover their tracks throughout each day in order to stay safe during nightly roundtable eliminations. At the end of the game, if traitors are left standing and unidentified, they take home whatever money the group has earned as a whole.

Dan Gheesling: The Master of Deception

While it seemed like it may be too good to be true, Big Brother legend Dan Gheesling was selected as the first traitor of the season by host Alan Cumming. The master of deception and manipulation, Dan has been away from reality TV for a decade and came back specifically to play The Traitors US. While he would’ve been an incredible faithful, Dan knew he would make an immaculate traitor, having the ability to lie to nearly anyone and manipulate whoever he needs to in order to keep his identity under wraps.

Phaedra Parks: The Attorney and Mortician

After Dan was selected, Alan chose an unexpected traitor for his second choice, selecting Married To Medicine’s Phaedra Parks as the next traitor to join the team. As an alumni of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta and a current cast member of Married To Medicine, Phaedra knows her way around drama, but her skills are deeper than one would expect. An attorney and mortician, Phaedra has the ability to read people and understands the depth of emotions that they can deal with in difficult circumstances. Uniquely equipped to handle the deception and secrecy, Phaedra will make a phenomenal traitor.

Dan and Phaedra met up on the first night of the competition to concoct their first murder, but soon after were tasked with deciding who else would join their traitor team. While there were several options they mulled over, both concluded that Survivor legend Parvati Shallow would be the best choice to join. One of the best to ever play the game, Parvati has the social skills and awareness to be able to downplay her abilities and has been part of a game that requires her to rely on strategy to outplay other competitors. With Parvati in the mix, The Traitors US season 2 has an incredible team of traitors.
