How Long Do AirTags Batteries Last?

How to Change AirTag Batteries
recommends using a CR2032 battery for AirTag replacements. Simply remove the old battery and insert the new one with the positive (+) side facing up. Then, snap the metal lid back into place and twist it clockwise until it stops rotating. Finally, reattach any keyring holders or mounts and your AirTag should be good to go for another year or so.
