Matthew Perry's last will and testament has been revealed five months after his passing. He created this will back in 2009, before his death in October 2023 at the age of 54. In his will, Perry appointed Lisa Ferguson and Robin Ruzan as coexecutors. He also mentioned that the majority of his estate would be held in his Alvy Singer Living Trust.

Perry stated in court documents obtained by We on Monday, March 11, that all his personal and household belongings, such as jewelry, furniture, art, and cars, including any insurance on them, will be part of his residuary estate.

The will, submitted by Ferguson’s lawyer in March, revealed that Perry had over $1 million worth of personal property at the time of his passing. This amount is separate from what his executors had previously placed in the living trust, which appeared to be named after Woody Allen's character in the movie Annie Hall in 1977.

Ruzan declined to act as one of Perry’s executors as mentioned in the document. She was an executive producer on Celebrity Liar, a show Perry appeared on in 2010.

On the other hand, Ferguson, Perry’s longtime business manager, agreed to take on the role. The hearing for Perry’s will is scheduled for Wednesday, April 10, in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office revealed in December 2023 that Perry passed away due to “the acute effects of ketamine.” Additional factors such as drowning, coronary artery disease, and the impact of buprenorphine, used in treating opioid addiction, were also mentioned in the report. Nonetheless, his death was classified as accidental.

Regarding his estate, Perry’s will designates his father, John Perry, and his mother, Suzanne Morrison, as beneficiaries of the trust since he did not have any children.

Matthew's ex-girlfriend, Rachel Dunn, was also mentioned in the 2009 paperwork. They were together from 2003 to 2005. In his 2022 memoir titled Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing, Matthew shared that he came close to proposing to Dunn but ultimately backed out.

Reflecting on their relationship, Matthew expressed, "The bond we shared had grown so strong that I felt compelled to ask her a crucial question." He recalled a moment when he told her, "I believe we need to stop pretending. Our feelings for each other are real," and she didn't disagree. Matthew admitted, "I had genuine feelings for her."

He remembered feeling nervous and hesitant to propose on Christmas, jokingly referring to himself as being in "Chandler f–king Bing mode."

Reflecting on his decision not to propose, Matthew expressed regret, imagining a life where he would now have a family with two children and a house without a view. He mused that he wouldn't even miss the view because he would have his partner and children to admire. Instead, he found himself feeling lonely at 53, gazing at a restless ocean from his empty house.

Matthew’s mom and stepdad Keith Morrison have four children together - Caitlin, Emily, Madeline, and William Morrison. They are all beneficiaries of the trust.

Another beneficiary of the trust is Maria Perry-Bowick, Matthew’s half-sister from his father John and stepmom Debbie Boyle, born in 1986.

Matthew is the only child of John and Suzanne. Their marriage ended when he was less than a year old in 1969. Suzanne married Keith in 1981, while John married Boyle.
