Matthew McConaughey and his wife, Camila Alves, along with their children, recently attended a charity event together. The family, who have three kids - Levi, 15, Vida, 14, and Livingston, 11, were seen at the 12th annual Mack, Jack & McConaughey Gala on April 25th in Austin, Texas.

McConaughey, 54, wore a navy suit and Alves, 41, opted for a black dress. Their children, Levi and Livingston, looked sharp in black suits. Vida stood out in a pretty pink gown, looking all grown up.

The annual fundraising event was created by McConaughey, along with country singer Jack Ingram and college football coach Mack Brown. The event raises money for nonprofits that support and empower children.

The Mack, Jack & McConaughey charity website states that over $41 million has been donated to different organizations since it was founded.

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves, who got married in 2012, were recently spotted on the red carpet with their kids in 2021 at the Los Angeles premiere of his movie Sing 2.

The family of five recently moved from California to Texas, as shared by Alves in an interview with Southern Living earlier this year.

In March, Alves expressed, "We had a wonderful life in Malibu. We had a lovely home that we built together with a lot of love and effort. Our children were growing up there. I was cultivating a variety of plants in the yard. I even had bees producing honey."

Alves pointed out that the gravity in Texas is quite different from California.

She remembered asking her husband if he wanted to move there, to which he simply replied, "Yep."

On the other hand, McConaughey reassured his Instagram followers that they would get to meet "a very cool and respectful young man."

He continued, "Levi, have fun on this adventure, share your story, express yourself, and connect with the people you meet out there."

Although Alves is seen as the strict one, McConaughey admitted in a 2020 interview with Town & Country that he is known as "the yes guy" in the family.

At times, showing love to your children may involve fulfilling their desires. However, there are also moments when tough love is necessary. According to him, wealthy individuals may provide their children with everything they desire, but that does not necessarily meet their actual needs. It takes a lot more effort to truly care for a child.
