Will Anybody Other Than a Wachowski Ever Direct a Matrix Film?

The film boasts a fresh cast, featuring Adam Driver as the new Neo, Greta Gerwig as Trinity, Jeffrey Wright as Morpheus, and Ben Stiller as Cypher.
The Matrix film franchise has been directed by the Wachowskis, with Lana and Lilly working together on the first three entries. This includes The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded, and The Matrix Revolutions, which were all released between 1999 and 2003.
