The starting classes in Lords of the Fallen often have base stat values that are insufficient for equipping the majority of impressive weapons. It is not uncommon to come across swords or axes in the early stages of the game that require an additional 10 or even 20 points worth of stats. This is why it is crucial to prioritize farming Vigor in the beginning.
Vigor can be obtained by defeating any moving enemy in Lords of the Fallen. While one may be tempted to venture into areas with high densities of enemies, this may not prove to be the most time-efficient method. Fortunately, there is a specific location in the early stages of the game where players can effortlessly acquire thousands of Vigor per minute with minimal exertion.

Players can efficiently earn around 600 Vigor in just 10 seconds by farming the Ardent Penitent near the Vestige of Blind Agatha in Pilgrim's Perch. This location is particularly advantageous for Vigor farming due to its time effectiveness.
To eliminate the Ardent Penitent within 10 seconds, players should teleport to the Vestige and swiftly sprint past him. Continuously move forward and, right before reaching the cliff edge, quickly change direction or dodge to the side. At this point, the Ardent Penitent, who would be charging towards players, will plummet off the ledge and perish instantly. Proceed to defeat the Pilgrim on the left, collect the Vigor wisps, and then return to the Vestige to repeat the process.
This location is ideal for players who need a few thousand Vigor to enhance their weapon or level up. However, there is an additional farming opportunity in this very spot that may be more suitable for those seeking a longer and more challenging endeavor.
To begin, teleport to the Vestige and dispose of the penitent and pilgrims. Then, venture into the Umbral realm where Husks and other Umbral monsters will continuously emerge. As players remain in the Umbral, the Vigor multiplier progressively increases. Once the multiplier reaches 3.0x, Scarlet Shadows will make their appearance.
Scarlet Shadows, commonly known as red reapers, yield between 3,000 and 9,000 Vigor, as well as five Umbral Scourings. However, defeating them in a fair battle can be extremely challenging. Therefore, it is advisable for players to lure them towards the platform's edge and utilize Soulflay to forcibly fling them off. Utilize the spine bridge and nearby beams to entice the reaper into the desired position.
Lords of the Fallen is currently accessible on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
