Upon entering the slums for the first time, Stray players will encounter Guardian, the red-cloaked protector of the area. If players present the postcard they found earlier to Guardian or any other robot, he will mention a group of robots called the Outsiders. He suggests seeking out Momo, another robot, to learn more about the outside world.
Momo resides in a tall building near an orange neon sign. In order to advance the main storyline of Stray, players must make their way there. Once players reach Momo, he reveals that his friends are missing and he cannot reach them due to a faulty transceiver he is currently fixing. To assist Momo in repairing the transceiver, players must locate four scattered notebooks within the slums.

Locating all four notebooks in Chapter 4 of Stray, and this endeavor is by no means effortless, especially for those still adapting to the expansive, open-world setting of The Slums. To ensure a smoother experience, this guide has been thoughtfully updated to incorporate video tutorials showcasing the precise locations of each of the four Stray notebooks.
Momo's Notebook (1/4)
After conversing with Momo, players will receive Momo's notebook. It will be revealed that Momo has relinquished his aspirations of exploring the outside world. Upon studying the contents of the notebook, B-12, Stray's mechanical companion, will propose the idea of locating the remaining three notebooks. These notebooks can be found in tall buildings adorned with the distinctive Outsiders logo, which features a white face with a circular mouth on a blue backdrop.

They will notice a tall building with a prominent blue Outsiders sign on the roof and enclosed metal railings on the side. Upon reaching this rooftop, players must disable the fan by removing the energy cell. This action will enable them to descend into the room below. Doc's Notebook (3/4)
The content fragment should be rewritten as follows:
Doc's Notebook is securely stored within a locked safe located in a cozy apartment filled with an abundance of books. To locate it, players should proceed to the right after departing from Momo's place and be on the lookout for a faintly lit sign featuring the Outsiders logo, situated in the distance. In case of any difficulty in finding it, the safe is positioned nearby a rooftop adorned with a sofa and television, not situated too far away from one of Stray's four vending machines. Upon entering the apartment, players need to locate Doc's bedroom and proceed to decipher the message on the bed, which will ultimately disclose the concealed safe nestled amidst the nearby books.
After B-12 translates the note, players will be rewarded with the safe key. They can then return to the main area of the flat and reach a row of bookshelves with a ladder at the end. On the ground level, there are several book piles that players can topple by jumping on them. This action will enable them to utilize the key for unlocking the safe and obtaining Doc's Notebook, eager to clutch it with their little hands.

Players can easily spot it by the prominent white Outsiders logo painted on the side of the building. Upon entering through the window and maneuvering through a gap in the glass-paneled sliding door, players will discover Clementine's Notebook resting on the desk near her computer. What to Do After Finding All Four Notebooks
After locating all four of the Outsiders' notebooks, players must return to Momo's flat. Upon presenting the other three notebooks to him, Momo will read the note detailing the flaw in the transceiver's design and subsequently initiate the repair process. Regrettably, the transceiver is incapable of receiving a signal within the boundaries of the slums. Therefore, players must venture into Zurk territory and embark on the fifth chapter of Stray to acquire a signal.
Stray is currently accessible on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, and PC.
