Where to Upgrade Ships in Starfield

The Ship Services Technician at a landing/launch pad is the most convenient way to upgrade the different modules on a ship in Starfield. The first encounter with this technician will take place at the New Atlantis pad while playing Starfield's main story. To successfully locate him, keep an eye out for the green Trade Authority kiosk along with a prominently displayed 'Ship Services' sign. The technician will be positioned directly to the left of the kiosk.

Outside of New Atlantis, the Ship Services hub can typically be located adjacent to the landing areas outside prominent cities.
