Keima Masuda's code of conduct is simply to spend his days lounging around. However, when Dungeon Core No. 695, also known as Rokuko, summons him to a magical realm, he continues to follow his lazy lifestyle. To make matters worse, Rokuko's dungeon points are now almost depleted, only enough to create a few goblins, and her house has been overrun by a gang of thieves.
Keima's motivation to take action solely relies on the knowledge that the destruction of the young girl's dungeon core would result in both of their deaths.
Although Rokuko initially feels dismayed for spending 1,000 of her precious points on a lethargic individual who spends the entire day sleeping, she soon recognizes that her Dungeon Master possesses a certain talent.
Keima eradicates imminent threats to establish a flourishing settlement centered around Rokuko's cave. It serves as a safe space for unsuspecting human adventurers to cultivate monsters and progress, thus generating a consistent influx of dungeon points for the dungeon.
With Keima's unconventional strategies, the duo expands their dungeon and strengthens their connection, gradually climbing the ranks, encountering unfamiliar faces, and eventually leaving a significant impact among the numerous dungeon cores in the vicinity.

The light novel comprises seventeen volumes, while the manga has currently covered only eight volumes. Hence, the story continues to thrive and is far from its conclusion.
In the latest chapter of Lazy Dungeon, an enchanting saintess ventures into the dungeon with the goal of captivating Keima and becoming a part of his harem. However, Rokuko, who just arrived in the room, denies the priestess as she believes that Keima belongs exclusively to her, given the promise ring he has bestowed upon her.
The saintess, determined to join the team, requests a ring from Rokuko. However, Rokuko refuses her plea and goes as far as to threaten the destruction of the Dungeon.
In a bold move, Rokuko challenges the saintess to a battle. If the saintess manages to dismantle the dungeon within three days, Rokuko will surrender her ring, enabling her to remain with Keima. However, if the saintess fails, she must bid Keima farewell forever.
