In Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, growing crops can be a lucrative venture. Players start their journey in Forgotten Valley, taking over their father's abandoned farm. They have the opportunity to purchase animals and plant various crops, such as vegetables, melons, and fruit trees, to generate income.

While regular crops require daily watering, tree crops have a different growth schedule, posing a challenge for players to manage. However, in the A Wonderful Life remake, many players are unsure if tree crops also require the same watering routine as regular crops.

Do You Have to Water Trees in A Wonderful Life Remake?

Players have the option to purchase standard Tree Crops from Vesta's Farm or eventually cultivate Hybrid Tree Crops. For the growth of Tree Crops, a crop field spanning up to six tiles is required, and unlike regular crops, they do not need to be watered for their prosperity. Before Tree Crops begin to flower and yield fruit, they must reach maturity, which typically takes several days.

To determine if Tree Crops have reached full maturity, players can observe their height and the abundance of leaves. Each Tree follows a seasonal schedule that specifies when its fruit will be ripe for harvesting.

Tree Crops can be harvested approximately twice before depletion. To obtain fruit, position yourself beneath a Tree and vigorously shake it until the surrounding yellow square transforms into a vibrant shade of blue. Refer to the comprehensive Tree Crop growth schedule depicted below:

By utilizing fertilizer on Tree Crops on a daily basis, Players have the opportunity to enhance the quality of the fruits, resulting in a higher value when sold for gold. Fertilizer can be obtained by either purchasing it from Vesta or by harvesting it through the Fertilizer Maker farm upgrade. To avail the upgrade, a sum of 45,000G is required, and it can be constructed using the farm Ledger.

By not using fertilizer on the Tree Crops, players have the opportunity to obtain the Seed Maker, which allows them to transform these crops back into valuable crop seeds that can be sold for a higher price. Although acquiring the Seed Maker usually requires a farm upgrade, there is a method to obtain it for free. As a result, players can generate substantial profits from their Tree Crops, all while requiring significantly less maintenance to take care of.
