Gunfire Games' third-person action-shooter, Remnant 2, kicks off with a tutorial mission at the Ward 13 base of operations. Here, players acquaint themselves with the game's controls and meet important characters. However, there's a lack of instruction when it comes to emoting.

Although some players may opt to face Remnant 2's formidable foes alone, the game is designed to be enjoyed in cooperative play, with emotes becoming a delightful addition. It's easy for players to overlook the option of emoting while focused on their objectives. Nevertheless, Remnant 2 offers a wide variety of emotes, perfect for creating hilarious moments with friends, especially when taking on challenging enemies such as World Bosses.

How to Emote in Remnant 2 (PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X)

To emote in Remnant 2, players can open the quick emote wheel by holding down on the D-pad on an Xbox Series S/X or PS5 controller. Xbox console players can navigate to either emote set 1 or 2 using the right stick and choose their preferred option by pressing RB (or R1 on PlayStation). Once the desired emote is selected using the right stick, players can perform it by pressing RB. Alternatively, players can use the 'Let's go' option at the top of the quick-wheel to give directions to party members while playing Remnant 2 co-op with friends. This can be combined with the way-point marker, activated by tapping down on the D-pad instead of holding.
