The Handler in Remnant 2 is an extremely flexible class with its unique dog companion. Although it may not match the Summoner's pet damage, it compensates with a wide range of utility skills. These skills are invaluable in ensuring the survival of any party, especially during challenging encounters in Remnant 2.

This guide concentrates on the Handler's role as a support-oriented class. While players can still tackle content solo using this setup, its true potential shines brightest in group play. Here, the true worth of each gear piece becomes more evident.

Remnant 2 Handler Build

The Handler can synergize effectively with any Archetype, but for a support-oriented setup, players should consider selecting Medic as either their primary or secondary Archetype. This choice will be dictated by whether players require the dog's ability to revive incapacitated allies. If this is not necessary, then the Medic's Regenerator Prime Perk will prove highly valuable in all circumstances.

Players have the freedom to choose any weapon they prefer, but it is highly recommended to use Nightfall due to its lifestealing abilities. This weapon not only helps the player stay alive but also effectively reduces the enemy's HP. Additionally, players can complement Nightfall with a secondary weapon equipped with the Healing Shot mod. This mod can be used to quickly heal the player's dog or other teammates in urgent situations.

While Healing Shield can be exchanged for other Medic skills, it is typically considered the least situational option. Support Dog is an excellent choice for players seeking a reliable source of healing. Furthermore, it works exceptionally well with the Anastasija's Inspiration ring. This ring grants Haste every time the wearer receives a healing effect, making it an ideal partner for the Support Dog.

The accessory setup mentioned above enhances the player's ability to ensure the survival of the entire party, including the dog. Burden of the Divine essentially boosts outgoing healing by sacrificing DPS. However, this drawback is compensated for by the Ankh of Power and Stone of Balance, both of which enhance the wearer's damage dealing capabilities. To generate more Mod Power, utilize Faerin's Sigil, and for extra movement speed, employ either Heart of the Wolf or Anastasija's Inspiration.
