How To SaveHow To Delete A Save File
In order to ensure that progress is not lost, players are advised to save their data after completing specific missions or exploring different regions. This will help them combat the fear of losing their progress in Final Fantasy 16.
Players can access the save option by pressing the Pause button on the controller, which will bring up the menu. To reach the System tab, they simply need to continue pressing the R2 button.
In the system settings, the first option available is Save. When the X button is pressed, the save list will appear, containing both autosave files and any manual saves made by the players. To save their progress in Final Fantasy 16, players can choose the Create Saved Data File option and press the X button.
The newly generated save file will appear directly below the option to create a saved data file. Each save file includes the date and time of its creation, allowing players to easily differentiate between older and more recent saves. Additionally, it provides information on Clive's level, his current teammates, and the ongoing mission. This feature is particularly useful when wanting to delete an undesired save state.
How To Delete A Save File
To avoid clutter caused by autosaves or accidental save files in Final Fantasy 16, players can easily delete any unnecessary saved files. By selecting the desired file and holding down the Triangle button until the circle is filled, a prompt will appear on the screen, allowing players to confirm the deletion of the saved data.
In case they change their mind, they will have to click No; otherwise, they just need to select Yes, which will successfully delete the file.
Final Fantasy 16 will release on June 22, 2023, for PlayStation 5.
