Learn Komaki's Tiger Drop in Yakuza Kiwami 2 by harnessing the multitude of Battle Skills, Heat Actions, and other Skills that await protagonist Kazuma Kiryu. Acquire these valuable abilities by accumulating experience points from combat, completing substories, and progressing through the game's chapters. Unlocking Kiryu's complete repertoire of skills requires dedication, as numerous abilities, particularly Heat Actions, are linked to the completion of specific substories and the acquisition of various Technique Primers.

Kiryu has the opportunity to acquire a special set of skills by training with Komaki Sotaro, a renowned master of martial arts. In Yakuza Kiwami 2, Kiryu can enhance his abilities by interacting with Komaki in Kamurocho's Champion District. However, it seems that this time around, Komaki is either keeping some secrets from Kiryu or underestimating his ability to remember things after being hit on the head with a baseball bat too many times. Despite this, there are four powerful Komaki techniques, previously learned by Kiryu in Yakuza Kiwami, which are not directly taught by Komaki himself in Kiwami 2.

These abilities are incredibly potent and should not be overlooked during your adventure. Of particular note is the iconic Komaki Tiger Drop, an impressively dominant move that effortlessly dispatches most enemies. Read on to discover how to acquire and unleash each of the hidden Komaki Techniques in Yakuza Kiwami 2.

Learn the four hidden Komaki Techniques in Yakuza Kiwami 2 by visiting the Acupuncturist at his clinic in Sotenbori. Kiryu gains access to the Acupuncture Clinic in Chapter 4, but not all abilities can be obtained at this point. You can find the clinic on the same street, just north of Club Four Shine and the bar Aoi.

Kiryu will have the opportunity to regain four abilities through the use of acupuncture. However, to learn each ability at the Acupuncture Clinic, specific unlock conditions must be fulfilled. These abilities encompass:

Komaki's Knockback

Komaki's Tiger Drop

After Kiyru has acquired an ability through acupuncture, he must invest experience points in order to activate it. To accomplish this, access the menu and find the obtained ability in the Battle Skills section, then allocate the required experience points to unlock and utilize the ability.

To learn Komaki's Breakfall Strike, Kiryu needs to visit Kamurocho and make his way to the Shichifuku Street Parking Lot. There, he will encounter "Mr. Try and Hit Me" and begin substory #8 with the same name. The Shichifuku Street Parking Lot is situated at the top left corner of Kamurocho, just below the bar Vincent.

Upon arrival, Kiryu will be presented with a straightforward challenge by the man in the parking lot. The player must land a hit on the man within 30 seconds. To participate, Kiryu must bet 5,000 yen, and if successful, he will receive a reward of 30,000 yen. After completing this substory, Kiryu can return to Sotenbori and head to the Acupuncture Clinic.
