Lords of the Fallen lives up to its reputation as one of the most challenging games of the year. Developed by HEXWORKS, this game features numerous bosses, both main and mini, that can easily halt players' progress. Throughout their journey, players will navigate through two different areas, Axiom and Umbral, both teeming with monsters eager to strike them down. Similar to other soulslike games, players are bound to die multiple times. This can be frustrating, especially when they have covered significant ground and obtained valuable resources, known as Vigor. When players die, they are transported back to the last Vestige point. Fortunately, there is an item called Vestige Seed that allows players to save their progress, thereby overcoming this setback.

In Lords of the Fallen, players can acquire Vestige Seeds through various methods. The most effective way is to reach Skyrest and enter Molhu's room. To locate him, players must take a left turn from the Vestige point towards Pieta. In the empty room behind, they can use the Umbral Lamp to reveal Molhu in the center. After engaging in dialogue with him, players will have the option to Purchase.
To find the Vestige Seeds, players can open their inventory and scroll down. Molhu sells each seed for a high price of 2,500 Vigor. Alternatively, there is a chance for enemies to drop Vestige Seeds, usually in close proximity to suitable planting locations.
Players have the ability to carry multiple Vestige Seeds simultaneously; however, only one can be activated at a time, resulting in the removal of any previously active seeds. Although there are limitations, the significance of Vestige Seeds is undeniable.
Vestige Seeds can only be planted on Umbral flowerbeds, which are scattered throughout the game. When players are in Axiom and near a flowerbed, the Umbral Lamp icon in the bottom right corner will blink, indicating the presence of a flowerbed. To plant a Vestige Seed, players need to hold the L2/LT button on their controllers, followed by the Triangle/Y button. Once the Vestige Seed is planted, players have the option to rest, warp to another Vestige point, or upgrade their character.
