Minecraft Live is hosting a mob vote between the crab, armadillo, and a mystery creature, and one player has built an impressive crab-themed survival base in anticipation.

The crab base displays a combination of vibrant orange and white tones, crafted from a fusion of Minecraft wood. Its facial characteristics are accentuated by the incorporation of Crimson wood, wool, and obsidian.

The mob vote is sparking enthusiasm among Minecraft players, as they anticipate the new creature enhancing diverse biomes within the game. Minecraft is accessible on numerous platforms.

A Minecraft player has constructed an astonishing Survival base that bears resemblance to the recently introduced crab mob. Scheduled for October 15th this year, Minecraft Live will incorporate a mob vote, presenting the options of the crab, armadillo, and a mysterious creature.

Over the years, Mojang has continuously updated Minecraft, and certain additions were subject to community voting. Examples of animals that were added to Minecraft through mob votes include Sniffers, glow squids, axolotls, and goats. As these mobs were successfully incorporated, it appears that others such as the Glare, Moo Bloom, Rascal, and the Copper and Tuff Golems have been forgotten over time. To commemorate the upcoming Minecraft mob vote featuring the crab, one player has constructed an impressive base entirely dedicated to the prospective new creature.

Reddit user TomOnMars recently shared five impressive images of a crab base in Minecraft Survival mode. The first image showcases the crab base in its natural habitat, surrounded by trees and a small body of water, emphasizing its massive scale. Unlike the blue and orange Minecraft crab, TomOnMars' Survival base is orange and white, achieved by using different Minecraft wood colors such as Acacia and red sand. Another image focuses on the intricate details of the crab base's face, including trap doors, ladders, planks, and fences.

What sets TomOnMars' crab base apart is its use of Crimson wood, a rare wood only found in the Minecraft Nether, for its facial features. The wool and obsidian eyes give players a sense of the crab base's gaze, but its immobile body prevents its size from being intimidating. An overhead view reveals a trap door in the middle of the crab base's top, potentially serving as an alternative entrance. Furthermore, eight crab claws are visible from above, each of them in proportion to the others, distinguishing it from the mob introduced in Minecraft Live 2023.

The armadillo and crab are both top contenders in the mob vote for Minecraft. The armadillo aims to bring life to the desert biome, while the crab seeks to enhance the oceans, lakes, and swamps. If the third mob receives the highest number of votes, its designated biome is still a mystery.

Minecraft can be played on various platforms, including mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
