In Mashle: Magic and Muscles episode #20, “Mash Burnedead and the Tall Tower”, Wahlberg unfroze Mash, Dot, Lance, and several others to deal with Innocent Zero’s forces while he fought Innocent Zero, himself. While Margarette, Kaldo, and Orter fought various monsters, Dot and Lance fought Sitter Baby, a member of Innocent Zero who used his magic to turn them into babies. The transformation severely weakened their magic, but Lance was able to defeat Sitter with some creative application of his magic and return their bodies to normal.

Meanwhile, Mash went off to destroy a giant tower of carbon created by Cell War, the member of Innocent Zero Mash fought at the end of season 1. Mash, however, struggled to remember who Cell War was and could only see him as a talking cream puff, something that enraged Cell War to the point of unleashing a flurry of carbon magic at Mash. Mash managed to avoid the onslaught and strike Cell War; only then did he remember who Cell War was, but Mash just called him an idiot for thinking the same magic would work on him twice.
