Whether he will return for the team’s official introduction remains uncertain, and no other casting has been announced. The film is set to be released on May 2, 2025, marking the beginning of the MCU’s Phase Six.

Thunderbolts – July 25, 2025

The team is named after General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, portrayed by the late William Hurt. It is uncertain if the film will introduce a new actor for the role or if there will be alterations to their origins.

Blade – November 7, 2025

No actors have been confirmed at this point, but according to Deadline, there are several potential casting options: Baron Zemo (Daniel Bruhl), Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), Abomination (Tim Roth), US Agent (Wyatt Russell), and Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan).

I am particularly excited about the upcoming Echo series on Disney+. Alaqua Cox's portrayal of Maya Lopez in Hawkeye was fantastic, and I am eager to see more of her story.
