Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. CQ Brown, Jr. had a video conference call with his Chinese counterpart, as confirmed by Joint Staff spokesperson Capt. Jereal Dorsey.

Brown and Gen. Liu Zhenli, Chief of the Joint Staff Department of the Peoples Liberation Army of China, had their first discussion since Brown became chairman.
