In the video posted on Tuesday, Lizzo explained, "When I said 'I quit,' I meant I am done with focusing on negativity. I will never stop creating music and sharing joy with others because I know we are all in this together."

Lizzo also mentioned that she understands that many people struggle with a negative inner voice that can be louder than the positive one. She wants to inspire others to stand up against negativity and stop letting negative comments or people bring them down.

In the past, Lizzo has been open about the hurtful comments she has faced online.

In June, the singer addressed the body shaming she experiences on social media through a series of Tweets on her X page. In 2020, she decided to leave X because of the numerous trolls.

In her latest video, Lizzo mentioned that she will continue to move forward despite the challenges she has faced.

In a video, she expressed, "I am going to continue being true to myself. I want to express my gratitude for all the love and support I have received. It means more to me than you can imagine."
